About the school and Imir

"The school is committed to providing an excellent foundation so that upon course completion, students feel prepared, confident and ready to share"

Imir Frazer - School Founder

A life-long interest in health & movement led me to begin practicing yoga in 2000. Having committed to the practice as a philosophy for life, I was keen to gain a deeper understanding of each of the limbs of yoga, as described in the Yoga Sutras of Patanjali.

Sharing the practice through teaching became my vocation and I have studied consistently to deepen my understanding of all elements of the science of yoga.

It had been my dream to create an authentic, high-quality school for yoga, which would provide the opportunity to work in-depth with small groups, offering a broad range of specialist training courses and passing on the wonderful practice in its traditional beauty.

In addition to completing 200 hour, 300 hour and Ashtanga Yoga Teacher Trainings, I have enjoyed training with some of the world's foremost teachers in Ashtanga Yoga, Vinyasa sequencing, Yogic Arts, Tripsichore, Yin, Rocket, Yoga History, Philosophy, Meditation and Anatomy.

In the spirit of Parampara*, it is a privilege to share what I learn from my practice and studies with the wonderful individuals I meet, as together we are enriched by the transformative benefits of a consistent and life-long yoga practice.

*Guru Parampara is the Sanskrit term for passing on knowledge and tradition, undiluted, from teacher to student, generation to generation.
